The 8th Hakeem Academy Annual Competition (HAAC) first round kicked off

Hakeem Academy, the human capital development and educational arm of Electronic Health Solutions (EHS), announced the launch of the first round of its 8th annual health-tech competition, targeting students from various medical disciplines in Jordanian universities.

Medical engineering, artificial intelligence, information technology, pharmacy, and medical students have submitted 94 projects before (HAAC) first round kickoff. Out of this pool of applications, 24 projects selected for the next round of the competition.

During the first round, participants presented their ideas and projects to an esteemed judging panel members from various specialties within EHS. After evaluating all projects and ensuring their compliance with the standards set by the competition, 10 projects were qualified and selected for the second round, which includes training sessions and workshops in preparation for the final competition day.

EHS CEO, Eng. Omar Ayesh expressed his admiration for the quality and the merit of the ideas as they were a testament to outstanding project proposals, which reflect the critical role of the Jordanian youth in leadership and innovation and their ability to find effective solutions to the challenges within the healthcare sector is facing in the Kingdom.

Eng. Ayesh elaborated that this competition is providing participants with an opportunity to advance their skills and offers winners valuable opportunities and practical training in their fields. He also emphasized that this competition reflects the commitment of Hakeem Academy to enhance the capacities and skills in the medical engineering, artificial intelligence, and information technology fields as well as motivating students to come up with beneficial inventions that benefit the healthcare sector and the national economy.
