10th Hakeem Academy Annual Competition Concludes

Electronic Health Solutions, through its educational arm “Hakeem Academy,” successfully concluded the 10th edition of its Annual Innovation and Creativity Competition, aimed at encouraging Jordanian youth to develop innovative technological solutions for the healthcare sector.
The closing ceremony, held at the E-sport Arena (ARC) in King Hussein Business Park, was attended by sponsors’ representatives, the expert judging panel, finalist student teams from universities across Jordan, and professionals and enthusiasts in health and technology.
Over several months, participating teams worked diligently on projects spanning key areas such as smart hospital systems, healthcare solutions for the military, platforms and tools for people with disabilities, sustainable and environmentally friendly healthcare practices, student health and education initiatives, and innovations in elderly care. These projects reflected a deep understanding of sector challenges and exceptional creativity.
The judging panel, composed of leading experts including His Excellency Marwan Juma’a, Chairman of Kenz and Dotjo; Ophthalmology Specialist at the Royal Medical Services, Lt. Dr. Shehab Al-Abed; Ms. Amira, Director of Digital Learning and Skills Development; and Ms. Natalie, Senior Director of Sustainability, evaluated projects based on originality, feasibility, potential impact, and scalability.
The top three winners were announced at the ceremony: The Epilepsy team won first place and the grand prize, Hemalock secured second place, and CapsView took third place.
Commenting on the competition, Eng. Omar I. Ayesh, CEO of Electronic Health Solutions, expressed pride in the advanced level of projects presented, highlighting the talent and innovation of Jordanian youth in developing solutions that directly enhance healthcare quality.
Eng. Ayesh also thanked the strategic sponsors—Jordan Ahli Bank, Digiskills Association for Digital Skills, Youth and Technology Project, Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, and Orange Jordan—emphasizing their critical role in the competition’s success over the past decade.
Representatives of the sponsoring organizations noted that their support reflects a commitment to social responsibility and fostering innovation and leadership in vital sectors, particularly IT and healthcare, helping bridge the gap between academia and labor market needs while contributing to sustainable development goals.
