Agreement to Facilitate Medication Delivery services for Ministry of Health Patients

Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) signed a cooperation agreement with Jordan Post Company to provide a monthly medication delivery service for the Ministry of Health patients in all governorates of the Kingdom.

The agreement was signed by Omar Ibrahim Ayesh, CEO of EHS, and Dr. Khaled Allahham, Director General of Jordan Post, in the presence of a number of senior officials from both sides.

According to the agreement, patients visiting hospitals and health facilities that implement 'Hakeem' program and are affiliated with the Ministry of Health will be able to request their monthly medications through the chromic diseases medication delivery service provided by EHS on the 'My Hakeem' application and platform, whereby Jordan Post will provide medication delivery service to beneficiaries in special packages with fixed fees for all regions, to be paid electronically.

There are currently 17 hospitals and health centers that offer this service throughout Jordan: Al-Bashir Hospital, Dr. Jamil Al-Totanji Hospital, Amman Comprehensive Clinic, Al-Weibdeh Comprehensive Clinic, Abu Nasair Comprehensive Clinic, Jubaiha Comprehensive Clinic, Northern Hashmi Comprehensive Clinic, Tabarbour Comprehensive Clinic, Wadi Al-Seer Comprehensive Clinic, and Al-Joufeh Comprehensive Clinic, Al-Qweismeh Comprehensive Clinic, Um Qusayr Al-Muqablain Comprehensive Clinic, Khuraibet Al-Souq Comprehensive Clinic, Sahab Comprehensive Clinic, Sweileh Comprehensive Clinic, Na’our Comprehensive Clinic, Tla’ Al-Ali Primary Clinic, and other health facilities will be added successively.

According to the agreement, people who use this service will be able to track the delivery of their monthly medications on 'My Hakeem' platform and application using special systems provided by the Jordan Post for that purpose.

Ayesh expressed that the signing of this agreement with the Jordan Post Company- the prestigious national institution, aims to make it easier for patients and save them as much time and effort as possible where they will be able to easily order their medication through ‘My Hakeem’ application and have them safely and quickly delivered to them through Jordan Post.

Ayesh affirmed EHS’ commitment to implement the goals that it was established for, under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in terms of improving the quality of health services provided to Jordanians. He indicated that the company has made significant strides in this field and will continue its work by harnessing all its capabilities, technologies, and knowledge to make Jordan become the regional pioneer in healthcare.

Dr. Khaled Allahham stressed on the importance of signing this agreement with EHS, Hakeem program, and the importance of the medication delivery service in making it easier and less of a problem for patients, especially the elderly. The Jordan Post Company continues to provide the best postal, logistical, and financial services in accordance with the changing needs of the market. Similar to the international post institutions that have adopted new business models, including the delivery of medications to patients in cooperation with the health sector. This service adds value and quality to the Jordan Post Company, as they are committed to providing all conditions and requirements of this service with complete reliability and accuracy while maintaining patients’ privacy.
