Belgian Delegation Briefed on Jordan's Healthcare Digital Transformation through "Hakeem"

A Belgian delegation, headed by the Belgian Ambassador to Jordan, His Excellency Mr. Serge Dickschen, commended Jordan's successful experience in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector through the national program "Hakeem" during a visit to Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) company.
The delegation highlighted the potential for strengthening cooperation between Jordan and Belgium by leveraging the expertise of Belgian companies working in the field of digital transformation.
The delegation was received by EHS CEO, Omar Ibrahim Ayesh, and a number of Directors and Executive Managers in the company.
During the visit, the delegation listened to a presentation about the company's role, objectives, and major programs, with a focus on Hakeem, the first national program for digital transformation in the Jordanian healthcare sector.
In his speech, Ayesh welcomed the guest delegation, praising the depth of Jordanian-Belgian relations and the keenness of the two friendly countries to develop them on all levels.
Ayesh explained that the establishment of EHS at the end of 2008 was a translation of the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II to automate and support the healthcare sector in Jordan. He pointed out that the company has focused its efforts on implementing its noble plans to enhance and rearrange the workflow mechanisms at all points of citizens' interactions with healthcare workers. This has contributed to elevating the quality of healthcare procedures at all levels, improving the patient's experience, and enabling them through the development and launch of electronic services that allow access to their electronic medical records and request monthly medication deliveries through MyHakeem mobile application.
Ayesh also expressed his pride in all the achievements made by the company, which have had a direct impact on raising the quality of healthcare services provided to patients visiting government hospitals and health centers. He also highlighted the distinctive role that the company plays in the digital transformation process in the healthcare sector, which serves Jordan's goal of enhancing its position on the global healthcare map.
At the end of the visit, Ayesh presented a trophy of appreciation from EHS to His Excellency Mr. Serge Dickschen, for his fruitful visit.
