Electronic Health Solutions participates in the Ninth Conference for the Jordanian Society of Endocrinologists, Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases

EHS participated in the ninth conference of the Jordanian Society of Endocrinologists, Diabetes, and Metabolic Diseases, as well as the first Arab East Endocrinology and Diabetes Conference which was attended by a deputy for Her Highness Princess Muna Al Hussien, Dr. Elham Khreisat, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health for Administrative and Technical Affairs.

During the opening ceremony, Khreisat stated that the number of diabetics is increasing both globally and in the Middle East and North Africa region and that if preventive measures are not implemented, the number of patients will increase in the future.

During the conference, EHS team presented an overview of Hakeem program, the first national initiative to automate the public healthcare sector in Jordan. The team also demonstrated a virtual tour of the Electronic Library of Medicine ‘ELM’, which was established in 2013 and is considered the first of its kind in Jordan. ELM is a free online platform with the largest number of medical resources and the most prominent international and local electronic medical knowledge, it explains how to use clinical decision support tools available in the library through the British Medical Journal and the treatment plans available and how to access them. In addition to clarifying how to search for scientific papers related to specific topics by using available medical references.
