HAKEEM Academy Launches the First Phase of Its 10th Annual Competition

HAKEEM Academy, one of the flagship programs of Electronic Health Solutions (EHS), has announced the launch of the first phase of its 10th annual competition. The competition serves as a leading platform for nurturing and supporting innovation among university students in the healthcare and information technology sectors in Jordan.

Targeting students from various Jordanian universities, the competition welcomes participants from disciplines related to healthcare and IT, such as biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, information technology, pharmacy, and medicine. This year’s edition witnessed remarkable interest, with more than 450 students submitting a total of 147 innovative projects.

Out of these submissions, 25 projects were selected to participate in the first phase. The selected students presented their ideas and innovations to a specialized judging panel comprised of experts from various sectors on May 26th and 27th.

The judging panel is currently evaluating the projects based on specific criteria, including innovation, feasibility, and potential impact. The top 10 projects will be selected to move on to the second phase of the competition, which is expected to begin in mid-June.
