Hakeem Program Honored for Its Role in Enhancing Medication Safety and Protecting Patient Health in Jordan

Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) participated in the first edition of the Medication Safety Forum, held under the patronage of the Director General of the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), Dr. Nizar Mhaidat. The event witnessed wide participation, with over 250 attendees from various healthcare and academic institutions, as well as pharmaceutical companies and distributors.
During the forum, Dr. Salman Sultan, Director of the Pharmacy Program at EHS, led a panel discussion titled "Innovation and Technology in Medication Safety," where he highlighted how technology can reduce medical errors and enhance the quality of healthcare services.
Dr. Huda Ibrahim, a Pharmacy Program Specialist, also emphasized the importance of electronic medication labels in her session, stressing their essential role in promoting medication safety. She pointed out the significant positive impact this technology has on patient health and in preventing dispensing errors.
As part of its efforts to advance medical knowledge, Ms. Shereen Al-Azab gave a comprehensive introduction to the Jordan Medical Library – ELM, providing a detailed explanation of how pharmacists can utilize the library’s resources to support clinical decision-making and help reduce medication-related errors.
Eng. Omar Ibrahim Ayesh, CEO of Electronic Health Solutions, affirmed that the company's participation in the forum stems from its strong belief in the power of technology and innovation to transform the healthcare sector. He emphasized that, through the Hakeem Program, EHS is committed to implementing the latest digital solutions that ensure patient safety and improve the quality of healthcare services.
