EHS Signs MOU with Knowledge Pathways for Information Technology to Launch “Hakeem-Himam” platform

Electronic Health Solutions (EHS) signed a memorandum of understanding with Knowledge Pathways for Information Technology, a Saudi company that specializes in the development and management of educational platforms, to launch ‘Hakeem-Himam’ an e-learning platform that develops manpower’s professional skills in Jordan's health sector.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Dr. Rami Farraj, Chairman of EHS and AbdulWahab Al Betairi Chairman of Knowledge Pathways for Information Technology; at EHS headquarters located at the King Hussein Business Park in the presence of the CEO of  EHS Omar I. Ayesh, Managing Director of Knowledge Pathways for Information Technology  Alaa AlQaidi, Member of Board of Directors Rafaat Qahoush, the Product Managing Director Mohammad-Kheir Al Bateekhi, Technology Managing Director;  Hothaifa Moayad, Head of Education and Knowledge; Ms. Afnan Jibreel, and a number of other high-rank employees from both sides.

Under the MoU, both parties will collaborate to launch an e-learning platform called ‘Hakeem.Himam.com’ that will focus on professional development and capacity building of Jordan's health sector human resources, where EHS will promote the platform to Jordan’s most renowned healthcare institutions such as: The Jordanian Ministry of Health, Jordanian Royal Medical Services, and the Jordanian Nursing Council among others, furthermore, Knowledge Pathways will provide EHS with free licensing for its e-learning platform ‘Hakeem-Himam’ which provides a vast amount of training and learning materials. Knowledge Pathways will also support and maintain the platform's technical aspects, as well as provide EHS with an administrative control panel and dashboards, and link it with leading international universities to add their courses to the platform.

The company’s Chairman, Dr. Rami Farraj assured that the MoU with Knowledge Pathways for Information and Technology is one of the major strides and procedures that EHS has taken to improve health care within the Kingdom and elevate it to a level that will enable it to compete on a global scale. Given that the launch of this platform will provide ease of access for ministries, institutions, and employees in the health sector to internationally accredited training courses that will contribute to continuous professional development each within his field.

EHS CEO, Omar Ayesh stated that EHS has crossed a major milestone in developing the healthcare sector through knowledge and education and will continue to work on implementing its programs and strategies to achieve its vision and goals to elevate the health care in all aspects.

Knowledge Pathways for Information and Technology Chairman, AbdulWahab Al Betairi stated that the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is proactive in developing and adopting the latest technologies in the educational sector and has human resources with high qualifications in various sectors, particularly in the technical, health, and educational sectors. Mr. AbdulWahhab assured, that the MoU with EHS will be a step forward in the right direction to enhance and develop these skills.

Knowledge Pathways for Information Technology CEO; Alaa AlQaidi added that the ‘Hakeem-Himam’ platform will provide educational courses from international universities such as UC Riverside and others. Indicating that those who complete the course requirements will receive accredited certificates from those universities and colleges through the platform, which in its turn will have a major impact on developing and enhancing healthcare services in Jordan.
